We Do Not Charge For Using Our Van

Spotted Bee work in a close partnership with Amazon. We have a fleet of Mercedes Sprinter's, Ford Transit's and a variety of rental vans for our Driver Associates. Branded vans are fully fitted inside with 3 sets of shelves and a sliding door between the cabin and the back to make your day delivering that much easier. Drivers are also provided with uniforms and devices. For your safety, vans are all fitted with trackers and reversing cameras and branded vans also have intelligent cabin cameras.

Unlike many other providers, we do not charge a weekly or monthly for the van, insurance and fuel. This means there is no cost to the DA to drive one of our vans. As a result, the van will stay on site at the depot each evening and cannot be used for your personal usage.

Jack is one of our drivers and has recently been involved in the shooting of a TV commercial for Amazon Prime - not every day is the same at Spotted Bee! Largest Provider In Manchester

Matt is one of our early Bees! We launched in Manchester in August 2020 and since then we have become the largest service provider in the Manchester Depot (the biggest depot in the world for Christmas 2020!). We continue to grow and have plenty of job opportunities at this site.

A Typical Day

To be honest there is no typical day! You should bank on each route lasting 9 hours per day. Our role is to ensure we meet the customer's promise and safely deliver their parcel on the intended day.

In Manchester, we load our vans between 9.30 am and 10.45 am. Warrington is a little later, starting around 11 am. Bolton load times are still to be determined. For those wanting to start earlier/later, this opportunity will exist in Manchester and Warrington throughout peak trading (early/mid-November onwards) when we will load around 7 am and 11 am each day.

Amazon provides the delivery software that DAs use for navigation and delivery. Our on-road team will monitor the team throughout the day and if anyone needs support then this will be provided - we work as a team and look after each other throughout the day.

How We Pay

Each Driver Associate receives a flat fee of £108 per day (incl VAT) this will increase for PEAK 2024. Generous team and individual bonuses, especially during peak trading, are on offer. All DA’s are paid weekly on a Friday and 2 weeks in arrears. DA’s are all self employed independent contractors. All of our DA’s work with Wise who will assist with invoicing and accounting on behalf of the driver

Looking the part!

We provide our Driver Associates with a free uniform (although Teddy does not come to work!). It’s an important part of you feeling part of our team and the amazon brand that we represent. You receive your initial uniform on your first day and then a full uniform when you graduate after a month with us (hat, shirt, coat and trousers/shorts). You need to provide your own safety shoes that are worn on the yard.

Delivering parcels with a smile!

Our aim is to try and deliver every single parcel that leaves the depot on one of our vans in the morning - after all, a customer has ordered the parcel and wants it delivered (always with a smile).

Our Driver Associates, once they have completed their 12 days of training, will be delivering around 250 parcels per day (about 170 stops) - all in a 9 hour route. This opportunity will help you remain fit!

DA’s will often deliver in the same postcode area each day so that they become accustomed with the area and customers.

In Manchester, we deliver around the south and east side of the City (Trafford across to Droylsdon and south to Reddish). In Warrington, we deliver north of the M62 from the depot up to Leigh and across to St Helens. Bolton is still to be determined. The geography can change, but we try and keep drivers in similar areas as much as possible.
